If you're using Word 2007 you may find that one of the SmartArt Graphics
(Insert Tab) will provide what you need.

If not you can create AutoShapes of your own in any version 2000 or later &
connect them using the Connectors & Lines tools. Since you don't indicate
what version you're using I can only suggest that you consult Word Help on
AutoShapes if you aren't familiar with them.
