How do I edit a ".gif file" that was created using Visio 2003 and.

After creating a visio diagram, I saved it as a .gif file. Now I would like
to edit it but it displays as one big block when I open it in Visio. I would
like to see the diagram shown in the grid format so that I can line blocks up
using the grid.

Visio isn't a bitmap editor and a .gif is a bitmap (dots not lines and
fills)

Just re-edit the original Visio drawing and export it as a new .gif!
