How do I edit a shape

I've created my own shapes and saved them into a stencil.
If I wants to change the shape just a little bit and then save it again as
the same shape(and not as a new shape). How do I do that. The only
possibility I can find is to save it as a new shape.

when you open your stencil file, open it as 'original'. That will put it in
edit mode. Now right click on one of your shapes, and choose "edit master".
That will pop open a new window with your shape in it, and you can edit it as
much as you want.
