how do I edit text in an org chart box?

When I try to edit the text in an existing org chart, Visio applies "set
text" changing the text in all the boxes to the first line of the text in the
box I'm trying to edit. I don't want to have to recreate the entire org
chart just to change the names in the "reports to" boxes. Can anybody help?

What version of Visio are you using?

In Visio 2003 the text in the Org Chart shapes is driven by custom
properties in the shapes. Changing the text in one shape should not affect
any other shape unless the other shape is a synchronized copy of the shape
you are changing.
