How do i eliminate chapter number in TOC

Dear team members,

I added chapter wise page numbering in my created document. But
unfortunately while updating my table of contents the chapter numbers are
displayed together with the chapter heading..Is there anyway to eliminate the
display of chapter number in TOC without affecting the chapter wise page
numbering?

To be more clear,

Here is an example.,

Consider that i have a chapter called "Introduction" which comprises of 5
pages. I added chapter wise page numbering to this section which displays
5-1,5-2....While updating TOC I am getting like "Chapter1
Introduction.......[page number]".. I do not need the text chapter1 which is
getting appended with "Introduction".. Even i changed the format of numbering
but still its displayed as "1Introduction .......[pagenumber]", as '1' is
getting appended with chapter title...How do i eliminate this behaviour and
making my TOC to display only chapter title and its corresponding page
number(chapter wise)?

What you can do is base the TOC on TC fields instead of on styles.
Alternatively, use one paragraph style for the auto number and another for
the heading text and include only the latter in the table of contents. For
