How do I eliminate prompting for deleting blocked text?

In word 2003 when I select a block of text for delete and hit the delete key;
I get a y/n prompt in the lower left corner. How do I eliminate the prompt

In Tools | Options, General tab, clear the options referring to WordPerfect.
