How do I email a slideshow that is 46mb?

I have a huge slideshow with photos that I want to email out. I tried
WinZip, but it barely compressed the file at all. Too big for Outlook to
send out.

Anyone know a way to do this?

Thanks!

Have you compressed the pictures inside of Powerpoint?

If not, select any of the pictures in your slideshow and then find the
'Compress Pictures' function. This is different depending on your version,
but in Powerpoint 2007 select the 'Format' Ribbon and on your left in the
'Adjust' Section is the 'Compress Pictures' Button. This should help to bring
the size down.

If you finding its still to big, you have two options I can think of.

1. Resize the pictures outside of powerpoint using a photo editing program
like Irfan View. This will reduce the size of the presentation but also the
quality of your images.

2. Depending on what software you use for archiving, when zipping the
powerpoint select to Split the archive into different 'volumes'. You could
then send each smaller file as a seperate email. The receiver will then need
to download all of the attachments and the Zip program should take care of
putting all the pieces back together.

Hope this helps.

I use a couple of app's that may reduce file size quite a lot for you...not
sure if it would be enough but worth a try. The results are frequently pretty
incredible. Google PPTminimizer and NXPowerLite. Pretty sure both have free
trials so you could give 'em a go. Good luck!

Hello, there are some tips to reduce the big file size of PowerPoint,
please go to:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HA011168821033.aspx

Also, you could reduce up to 90% file size of your presentation if
you
convert your presentation to Flash using some ppt to flash converters,
such as PPT2Flash http://snipurl.com/ppt-swf

There is also an article about how to email your PowerPoint
presentation to others perfectly.
http://www.sameshow.com/ppt2flash/email-your-powerpoint-presentations-to-others-perfectly.html/#110

Hope these could give you some help.
