How do I email in OneNote and retain the written parts inside the

I have a contract form for my business. It was cut and pasted from Excel. I
have
meetings at clients homes and would like to have them sign the contract
right then in OneNote.
When I test emailed it to myself the handwritten parts did not match up
within blank spaces. Any ideas?

You are better off taking the document and putting it into a format which
will retain the layout.

Which version of OneNote?

If you're using 2007, download and install the PDF/XPS output format tool
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4D951911-3E7E-
4AE6-B059-A2E79ED87041&displaylang=en) and export the signed OneNote
page to that format, which should do a better job at retaining the
layout.

You can then email the resulting PDF file.

OneNote 2003 - native PDF export tools aren't built-in to ON2003. You
would need to find/purchase a PDF print driver to do the same thing.

Thanks Erik.
I am using ONENOTE 2003. So 2003 won't retain the format on the screen
without a driver. I wish I'd known that before I bought the program :(. Guess
I have to upgrade to 2007.

Yes, go the upgrade path - the sooner the better.
ON 2007 has far more to offer.
