How do I embed a pdf file in my web page using Publisher 2003?

I have created a web site using Publisher 2003. I would like one of the
pages to display a pdf file I have. I have tried the Insert, Object feature
in every possible combination and I can't get it to work. Any advice would
be much appreciated! I would settle for a Word document if pdf is impossible.

Next time please use this forum by reviewing existing threads (your question
is very common) and also use the FAQ page at
http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=30 which contains the common
questions (like yours). You are functionally incorrect, Inserting an Object
(called OLE) is when you want to add an Office document to another Office
document and be able to modify the inserted copy and have those
modifications take place in the original file and vice versa. It should then
be obvious that such a thing could only apply to a print publication file
and not a web publication file.
Web sites are comprised of files that link to one another. Hence you upload
your pdf file to your web server and then if you want a link to that file
from your publisher web page you create a link and set the hyperlink to the
URL of your pdf file.
