How do I enabl time entry in the Timesheet view of Project server

I have uploaded my Project Plan in Project Server. Everything looks ok and
the my resources have been assigned their tasks. When the team members or
myself or the admin log in, everyone can see their tasks but cannot actually
enter actual hours in the TimeSheet View. It's really strange. All the
permissions seem alright. Is there some setting on the plan itself I need to
change in order to allow for time entry in the right side pane of the Time
Sheet view? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The default method of tracking in Project Server is % Work Complete. This
allows team members to enter actuals on the View My Tasks page only in the %
Work Complete column and the Remaining Work column on the left side of the
page. If you want your users to enter actuals in the timesheet grid on the
right side of the page, you need to change your method of tracking to Hours
of work done per day or per week, according to the following FAQ:
