How do I enable javascript?

I have downloaded a document in Word from the McKinsey Institute, which has
exibits that have not opened. Below the exhibit appear the following words:
"Your javascript is turned off. Javascript is required to view exhibits."

Word "Help" plus the Knowledge Base on the Web appear to have Zip, Zilch,
Nada on how I enable Javascript for thes document.

How do I enable Javascript in Word?

Graham, Thank's for your note, but when I went to
http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp, and noodled around a bit, I found:
"JavaScript should not be confused with Java, and is a Netscape, not Sun
trademark."

Plus, I already have Java addins on both Firefox and Explorer browsers. And
my issue has, somehow, cropped up in Word, rather than in a browser.

Any insights?

It has no doubt cropped up because you are trying to edit a web page in
Word - see if http://www.shopassistant.net/support/scriptenable/ helps.

The document that I am trying to read, not edit, is downloaded onto my
desktop and is most definitely in MS Word. There are big blank exhibits on
each page. On the line below each exhibit are the words: "Your javascript is
turned off. Javascript is required to view exhibits." Help in Word, even on
the Web, is studiously taciturn.

I just want to do whatever I need to do to see the exhibits. Also, active
scripts is activated in Internet Explorer v.7.0.5346.5. My default browser
is Firefox 1.5.0.7

Thanks! Chuck
