I have an email address with Tiscali, but i would prefer to use Outlook to
manage my emails. How can i use the same email address at present but in
Outlook?
thanks

Just install outlook and set up your email account there. It's as easy as
that.
BTW, don't confuse an email CLIENT (ie Outlook) that you use to download and
read emails, with an email PROVIDER (or mail server) such as Tiscali.

Firstly go to the Tiscalli website and look up the email settings - they
might very well have instructions for Outlook anyway. If so, just follow
those. If not, make a note of the settings, (POP server, smtp server,
username and password) and open Outlook, and go to Tools-Email Accounts-Add
new email account and follow the instructions.

Check the details VERY carefully. Also check whether you need to
authenticate and also that SPA is unchecked.

Thanks again, i hadn't fully completed my username. I've now done that, but
the error now says it cannot connect ti POP3 incoming mail server because it
is in use???

Can you shed any light
Thanks
