How do I exclude holidays in a Recurring calender item?

Thanks for the quick reply, but I don't think I will be buying and addon like
that any time soon (or later). Perhaps Microsoft will implement such a
function in the future.

You don't need an addin, just Excel - which you have if you own the office
suite.
