How do I exit the picture editor in microsoft word 2003?

So I have imported a clip art picture into Word, and then I right click it
and select "Edit Picture" and I do some edirting, change the color....

now how do I exit out of the Picture Editor mode??

Yes, I have; it simply deselects the picture. The Enter button does not work
either. Thanks.

Tried that as well. When you select "Edit Picutre" it does not take me into a
separate screen or program, it just changes the "handles" that srround the
picture when it is selected. And I simply can't figure out how to get those
"handles" to change back.

I have MS Word 2003 and tried to recreate your scenario. I imported a clip
art picture into word and right clicked to select "edit picture" (my first
clip art did not let me edit but after trying a few I found one that allowed
me to choose this option). When the black brackets were up I was able to
select different portions of the clip art and stretch/skew or otherwise edit
them individually... when I was done I was able to simply left click on the
white word document away from the artwork and I was back to the text. I
verified that doing so did in fact save or leave the changes intact I had
made on the art. If your's is not working this way (since I was not able to
edit all graphics) I am left to wonder if the original graphic was made or
saved in a way that makes it more or less "editable."?
