how do I export a vector graphic from word

I have a word document with a vector graphic in it (possibly it was origonaly
a WMF file) that I would like to copy to an individual file so that it can be
placed in a library to be used later.

Does anyone know of a technique for saving it as an individual vector file?

Perhaps the information here will do the trick;
http://www.gmayor.com/extract_images_from_word.htm

It didn't explicitly (it is for bitmapped graphics, and converts the graphic
into a bitmap at the size indicated) but it had a note at the bottom to see
Stephen Lebans site at www.lebans.com/msword.htm .

Stephen has written a macro that can write the image out as an EMF file. I
then imported it into word and it let me resize it and even would convert it
back to drawing objects so that the colors and line widths can be edited.

Thank you both.

Thanks for posting back... I meant to call your attention to the link, but
got distracted. Glad you found it & that it proved helpful.
