How do I export database properies from visio to excel?

I am creating a data dictionary and need to export my visio diagram into
excel. How do I create this report?

Tools > Reports is the feature for generating reports on Visio shapes. Once
you create a report, you can run it and send the output to Excel or HTML.

I am trying to generate a report from the database that I created in
Visio. I am using Visio Professional 2003. I would like to include the
table names, column names , column types and the comments that I
entered in the NOTES field associated with the tables and columns.
Basically, I would like to generate a data dictionary report. The
Tools > Reports feature does not give me this information. It only
gives me information about the Visio Shapes.

Is this possible in Visio or is there an external program (Visual
Studio, perhaps?) that can read the .vsd file and extract this
information.
