How do I extract imbedded photo from email?

I have received an emal with an embedded photo. This is a photo that is
inserted into the text, not an attachment. I need to use the photo. How do I
extract it from the email?

You should be able to right click on the picture and use the save as option
to save it to a new location...such as the picture folder or desktop

Thanks for the suggestion. However, I tried that and a lot of other things
already, and nothing works. When I right click on the picture, the only
available choice is "Copy". However, when I try to Paste somewhere, nothing
happens ("Paste" is greyed out). I'm using Outlook 2007 with Vista.

Does anyone else have a wokaround for this? My understanding is that you
can't change email format options as a recipient other than the plain text

Plain text messages cannot have embedded objects; it must have been a
HTML message.

I would look at the HTML source code to see where the image is located.

I am having the same problem as Justin -- I don't think they've developed a
good workaround. Pasting it into Word does work -- it's the first time I've
actually gotten a "paste" option after right-clicking on the embedded picture
and copying the picture -- and Justin's right, you can't right click and
paste anywhere else. However, once it's in the Word document, then what? I
think we both are looking for a way to get the jpeg file onto our hard drives.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am not familiar with that program -- I have a
Corel program and an HP program that came with my printer and I did not have
any luck pasting into either of those -- guess I'll keep trying!

PROBLEM SOLVED! You can right click on the image and paste it into MS Paint,
and then save it as a jpeg. MS Paint is found by opening All Programs and
then Accessories, or you can open the start menu and type mspaint in the Run
box. When you are in Paint, click on Edit and then Paste. Then use
File/Save As to save the file as a jpeg in any folder you want.

Paint,
and then save it as a jpeg.

That's what I said. Paste it into some image-processing program. I use
IrfanView, as I said, but Paint (and others) work as well.
