how do i fade music during a powerpoint presentation?

hi - i would like to fade music -as a slide transition - instead of the music
ending abruptly...how can this be done? thanks.

You can't fade a music in PowerPoint. You will need a sound editor such as
Audacity to do so.

You can download Audacity for free at:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
