How do I find Normal.dot file in Vista, word 2007

I've accidentally saved text in Normal.dot file and I can't figure out how to
delete the text so my blank documents are blank. I got instructions on how to
find Normal.dot in XP but I've got Vista and have Word 2007 and nothing comes
up when I try to search for Normal.dot on the start menu

You have to search to include hidden files for normal.dotm (The word 2007
default template)

Another way: Even if you don't change the option (in the Computer application's
menu, in Tools > Folder Options > View) to show hidden folders and files, you
can probably locate the template by typing this into the address bar:

%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates

That's the default location; it can be changed through the Word Options > File
Locations dialog, but few people do that.

As DL says, the file you're looking for is Normal.dotm and not Normal.dot.
