How do I find out the version of Word that created a document

Hi all

I have been sent an email with a Word document as an attachment. How
do I find out within Word what version of Word the document was
created with. I have opened it in Word, and in File > Properties >
General all is says is "Type: Microsoft Word 97-2003 Document". Where
do I need to look to find the specific version?

Thanks

Any Word document could have been created by editing in several versions of
Word, so there is not really an identification of THE version that created a
document.

Indeed, even knowing which was the most recent version to save a document
does not mean that other more/less recent versions had also been used to
edit the document.
