How do I find the filenames of pictures in a presentation

I have several large presentations containing pictures created from screen
captures. Is there anyway when reviewing a slide to see the filename of the
embedded picture file?

Once saved, the filenames are usually thrown away in version 2003 and
earlier. The paths to those filenames are always discarded.

What version are you using? If it is 2007, then just look in the selection
pane of the slide.
