How do I find the most recent posts ?

As far as I can see the MSDN newsreader presents threads in the order they
were created, so even if you have a very recent response to a thread you
might have to scroll through a few pages to find the thread.

What I'm used to seeing is that the active threads bubble up to the top so
you can easily see "what happened since I was last here". I haven't figured
out how to do that with this reader, so I end up having to do more searching
and browsing than I would like (or have time for ;)).

What do other people here do ? Use a different news reader or is there a
setting I missed ?

John:

I think most of the posters on this forum use Outlook Express if they're
using a client-side newsreader, however, more an more, people are using the
web interface Microsoft Provides. This became the trend after a rash of
viruses that leveraged public newsgroups in one way or another. The web
interface is very good protection from that type of exploitation.

John -

You might try Google Groups too. The postings are listed in date time
order, there is a good (as you might guess) search engine, and you can
mark topics you want to come back to.

Now if they would only integrate a way to add a signature line......
