The usual way to do this is to sort the table.
If you want to get the table back into order afterwards, add a column to it,
and add numbers to the column. Then convert the numbers to text BEFORE you
sort.
Then sort the table by the names. You will see at a glance if you have any
duplicates. Remove them.
Then sort the table again, this time by the numbered column. That will put
it back in order.
Then delete the numbered column.
If you do not want to use a numbered column, make a copy of the document,
sort the table, identify the duplicates, and remove them from the original.
