How do I find the product code for a pre-installed office on lapto

I bought a laptop with preinstalled office 2007. Where do I find the product
code for it? I already put in the code I have on the bottom of my computer
but it didn't work. Help!

Chances are real good that this is a trial version. If you are serious
about using Office you will have to replace it anyway. The code on the
bottom of the computer is for the copy of Vista that you have installed, not
for Office. More people have trouble activating these trial versions than
anything else in this discussion group.

If you paid for Office in addition to the cost of the laptop, then the
vender should be able to help you out. If it just sort of came with it,
then it likely was just a trial version. If it was the trial version is it
recommended that you delete it before trying to install the real thing, that
you will need to purchase.

Note: There are a number of different versions of Office with different
features and requirements. Be sure to do your homework and find the version
that best fits you needs and the best price.
