how do I fix desktop display?

I've done a stupid. Play a free online game and it goes to full screen. when
game ended the screen stayed the same so now the desktop and icons are very
large. I went into "display" on "my computer" but wasn't able to fix it that
way. I've done this before but don't remember how it was fixed. Also, the
desktop picture is no longer centered, it's toward the bottom right side of
the screen.

And this is an Office problem?
Post the Q to a group that supports your version of windows.

You can try 1 of the following
1. If your monitor has an auto-adjust button, please click it
2. Change your resolution back to your original one
3. In Display properties, click on Troubleshoot button & it will guide you
