How do I fix Office update?

I recently reloaded my notebook with all new OS (XP PRO), and software
(Office 2003 including Frontpage 2003). Everything seems to run fine. I
have run Windows Update and it worked fine. But... If I try to run Office
Update, I get an error: "Office Update is unable to check for updates" .
It gives a list of possible reasons. Given the current conditions here,
none of them sound logical to me for this setup...

Anybody got any thoughts?

You can try reinstalling this...

Sometimes it gets corrupted by other programs...
