How do I fix Outlooks 2000 sends but does not receive email ?

I recently installed a new hard drive and cloned the old drive to the new one.
When I first ran Outlook 2000 I had to re install the office assistant. Then
I was getting the dreaded 0x8007007E error so i ran detect and repair. Now I
can send email but I do not seem to be recieving. It goes through the
motions and says all is good but nothing comes through from my test emails.

Any ideas?

Have you verified that the incoming mail server settings are correct?
Is your firewall or antivirus program stopping your mail account from
receiving?

Yes all the settings are correct.I have done other searches but so far no
solutions that work for me.
