how do I fix the error msg 550 relaying msg not allowed

Outlook wont allow me to reply to emails or send certain emails. The error
msg reads: 550 error, relaying msg is not allowed. How do I fix this so I
can send out emails and reply to them.

From my experience this is a problem that is beyond an Outlook setting.
Instead it is a problem with your Mail Server not being authenticated
correctly by the receiving Server. The main reason I know for a 550
Relay error is your Mail Server has been blacklisted as a relaying
Server - which is not good because that is how SPAM can be delivered
easily.

I have received this error before and have contacted our Mail Server
Administrator, and it usually gets ironed out pretty quickly.

Are you using an alternative connection and trying to use your ISP's
mail servers? Chances are, you need to connect using the connection
offered by your ISP.
