How do I fix the font in a form answer block within a table?

Diane R.

The is a second request for help; am rewording question. How do I change the
font in an answer block of a form that is in a table format? I am using Word
2000 and when I changed the font within the table the form field font would
not change. Is this normal or can I do something to change the font?

"Form answer block" has so many possible meanings.
If you can change the font in the table in general but not in the answer, I
suspect that:
(1) you are doing your formatting using direct formatting (just changing the
font of a selection) rather than through the style, and
(2) you are not working in a document that is protected for forms.

Which version of Word are you using?

If you press Alt-F9, what do you see for the answer field? (Press Alt-F9
again to restore the normal view of fields.)

I did a Ctrl A and changed the font that way. Also, I click on the icon on
the toolbar for locking the document as a form. Are these incorrect?

With your document unprotected, what does the problem field look like when
you do Alt-F9?
