How do I flag my sent items to remind me?

Using Outlook in MS Office 2003 is it possible to set a flag on an e-mail
sent by me, to remind me that a response should have been provided or action
taken by the recipients? This option only appears available within Inbox; my
only choice appears to be to copy myself in on my e-mail, then set the flag
upon receipt - otherwise recipients receive a message with a flag already on
it.

FYI: Outlook 2007 will fire reminders throughout the entire mailbox.
