about what you are trying to do & what version of Word someone may be able

Off topic but if ever I try to answer someone who just puts his question in
the Subject line my system always comes back with:
"An error occurred while sending your post" before I can even type anything.
You can obviously send something. I'm using Firefox - is that the problem.
Have you ever seen the same response

I sometimes see the error (or one like it) due to traffic on the server (I
assume) when reading, ut never when sending. Normally I can just select a
different message then reselect the one that threw the error & all is well.

However, I use MS Entourage on a Mac as a newsreader rather than working
through a browser. You might look into using Outlook Express - that's what I
use at work on a PC - far preferable to a browser
