How do I 'flip' a table?

I have tried to flip/rotate a table without success. The table's in the
middle of a doc that is in portrait. I need to get the table flipped because
it's too wide to look good in portrait.
Naturally, the thing to do would be to select the landscape setting for the
page the table is on, but this would make the position of the text in the
footer 'move' as it wouldn't look the same as all the other pages.

Could possibly change the text direction, but that woud mean I'd have to
re-type the whole table.
Just wish it was possible to 'flip' the table as you would with an object!

Hiya

i dont know if this will work - but I assume it will. Create the table in a
seperate file and then insert it as an object. You should then be able to
move / flip / rotate as required?
