how do I format a letter for clear window envelopes?

I need to send out a past due statement but all I have are clear window
envelopes meant for a sender and recipient address. I don't know which
template to use on my letter in order to have the address and sender info
matvch up with the clear windows. It is a standard business envelope type
CO128.

Depends on the window location and size, time to do a little measuring.
And then you can put the info where it needs to be on the page.

In Word I usually make sure that the address starts at 2.4 inches from the
top. When folded in thirds the address shows in the window.

I don't want to be dense but must you use windowed envelopes? I
used to but gave them up years ago since Word 2002 does quite a
good job printing envelopes. I've still got half a box of
windowed envelopes that you could have if you are ever in my
neighborhood!
