How do I format the entire page before I create my flowchart?

I would like to format my flowchart page at the beginning. The items that I
would like to be uniform for everything in my flowchart is font within
shapes, line width, color of lines

You can start a new flowchart drawing and then use Format > Define Styles to
modify the flowchart styles as you like.
