How do I "free rotate" a line

In PowerPoint 2003 I was able to free rotate a line without changing its
length. How do I do this in PowerPoint 2007? Also, to draw a line segment
using the drawing tool, I used to be able to hold down the shift key while
drawing and a horizontal or vertical line would be drawn. How do I do that
in PowerPoint 2007?

Henry,
The free rotation for lines seems to be gone.
As to the drawing of horizontal and vertical lines using the shift, that
seems to work normally here.
If you are trying to extend an existing line using the shift and your line
seems to end in infinity, that is a bug:
There's a hotfix available for it.
