How do I generate a list of equipment, pumps, valves etc

I have a process diagram with equipment, pumps, valves etc. I would like to
create either a list or a table of these by name.

I've not done this so not sure it would work but;

- I rmemeber an older version of Visio that had an index or table of
contents add-on; don't know where to find it now.

- could try to use the stencil; do a screen shot or open with .txt editor
and extract

- or use the file in use doc stencil and make a page with each stencil in a
column, named, etc.

- search Visio or Google for what you are looking for, there are several
developers that sell stuff and are on this list

Have you tried using shapes like "Equipment list", "Pipeline list", etc in the "Process Annotations" stencil? They would
help to generate list of items. Otherwise, select Tools > Reports to create the required list of items.

For assistance, kindly check this web page: http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/assistance/HP848500901033.aspx
