How do I get a bad email address out of Outlook's autofill memory?

We are using Outlook 2002. It is set up for name check
and for "autofill" of email adressees, i.e. it suggests an
addressee after the first one or two letters of an
addresse name is entered in the "To", "cc" or "bcc" fields
of a new message. We recently mistyped an address (left
the last letter before "@" out and sent the message).
Naturally it came back with an "unable to deliver"
message. Now when we try to send a message to the
addressee, Outlook comes back suggesting the invalid
address. It's not an earth shattering problem, but is a
nuisance.

Is there any way to clear "bad" email addresses out of
Outlook's autofill memory?

Thanks for your help

That's the problem. There is no list that I can find with
the bad address. It's also not in the address book. Is
there a list somehere besides the address book that can be
edited to add/delete addresses?

Roady is referring to the suggested names list that is presented when you
type in the To: field. That's where you delete the entry.
