How do I get a CAD drawing to open in Visio?

I have Visio - standard. There is a cad drawing I want to open on our network
drive. How do I do this?

Go to File > Open in Visio and change the file type to DWG or DXF. Visio
Standard may not have all the same CAD capabilities as Visio Professional.
The CAD support in Standard has varied from version to version.
