How do I get a hyperlink in power point to open in a new window?

I want to click on a hyperlink in a power point slide and have it open in a
new window which is a website, not another power point slide.

When you insert a hyperlink to a Web site, it should open up in your
browser, not within PowerPoint. The easiest way to add the hyperlink is
simply to type the URL (starting with http:// ) and hit SPACE after it.
PowerPoint will automatically turn it into a hyperlink. Alternatively,
you can highlight some text and right click on it and choose Insert
Hyperlink.
