how do I get a Note to stay open

How do I get a Note to stay open when I go to another program or change
screens?
For example, I copy something from the Internet and to a note. Then I open
word, and put the note on top of the page. When I start typing, the note
disappears. Since I don't have a photographic memory I'm in a constant loop.
Open note, start type, open note, type, open note, type, open note, type. I
can't believe theres not a way to keep it open.

you'll need a program that keeps it on top - I use nail.exe. If you can't
find a current version using Google, there is an older version at
http://www.poremsky.com/p/programs.htm (it works with all versions of
windows so far).
