Depends on what you mean with 'cut into shapes'. Did you use the 'crop'
button or the 'wrap points' to shape your picture (normally the crop button
only makes you 'cut' a picture, not reshape it wich is done with 'wrap
points'.

Anyway, to 'shape' (not cut) your picture and to get the text to wrap around
it, do the following.
Click in your picture --> click the 'image aid ribbon' that appears at the
top of your screen (don't know the exact english name for this ribbon as i
use the dutch version). Subsequently click on the 'Text wrapping' button
(with the little doggie) and choose ' tight' ( 'contour' in my version). Then
click the 'edit wrap points' to shape your picture. Normally your text should
wrap your picture.
In case you just 'cut' the picture and your picture still has a rectangle
shape just click ' square' on the 'text wrap' button.
If needed, move your picture a bit to get the disered result.

Word behaves a bit differently if your picture is 'full colored' or has
'white filling' around your image (don't know how to describe it better in
english) when using 'edit wrap points'. With a white filling the points will
automaticly wrap around the 'inside' image and with a full coloroud one you
will have to drag the points yourselve to the desired shape.

kind regards
Sandra
