Yes it is. I assume you're buying the retail version so you'll have the CDs
and the product key will be on the cases. Amazon is a great place to buy
Office - they are usually several dollars cheaper than buying it from
Microsoft. I like that part.

To answer the first part of your question, you get the 25-characte
trial key during the download process (on the "Download" and "Thank You
pages). It is also sent to you in your confirmation e-mail. You can ge
the download for Microsoft Office Beta 2010 here: 'Microsoft Offic
Online' (http://tinyurl.com/272au7e). It is a free trial that expires i
October.

You can now pre-order Office 2010, which will be available in June. T
