How do I get a song to play continuously throughout a slide show?

I am not an experienced Powerpoint user. I just downloaded the Powerpoint
Producer add in and I thought it would be obvious how to play a sond
continuously during a slide show. It seems that it is not. I will keep
trying to figure it out but some help would be appreciated.
