I was not given an e-mail address at the time of installation or when
internet was first installed on my computer.

Then you'll need to contact your ISP to get one.

You need to get one as Outlook doesn't come with one. You can either
call your Internet provider or use a freebie like GMail at
www.gmail.com/ Once you've set up your account, you will need to go into
GMail's settings and activate POP support. Then you need to configure
the GMail account in Outlook. You will find instructions on how to do
that in the GMail web site.

If you have any further questions, post back.

Tom is right. If you have an ISP, it's likely you already have an email
account with them. Contact them to find out what it is.

To set up the account in Outlook, check their website for instructions.

if you have internet on your computer probably you already have a email with
the username that you use to conect to internet like

username: ptewewe
pass: ++++

and you are conectet to AOL so you mails is (e-mail address removed) but you can make
a personal email in an other site like hotmail, gmail, live, etc

Outlook is an e-mail program, not an e-mail SERVICE. If you want an
e-mail address, you will need to get one from an e-mail PROVIDER. Start
with your own ISP who probably includes e-mail SERVICE with your account
for which you pay them to gain Internet access. Otherwise, go hunting
for other e-mail providers. You didn't mention if you want a free (and
supported) e-mail ACCOUNT or you are willing to pay for one (to get
support).
