How do I get animation on my animated gifs in outlook?

I'm trying to send some gifs to a friend of mine using OUTLOOK 2003 but
there's no animation on them. I'm using them in my signature so that he can
see them right away, one picture next to each other, but there's no animation
and I know that there's a way to make it show up. How do I do that? In Word?
Please help? :( I've been trying these 2 hours ago...

You have to send your message as HTML. This doesn't automatically mean your
recipient can see the animation if he/she doesn't have HTML email enabled.
