How do I get auto formating turned off? MS answers don't work.

After following all the suggestions for turning off autoformat, my documents
still autoformat.

Is something available to turn this feature off completely? I'm spending
more time on my documents than I need to.

Did you clear the settings on the AutoFormat As You Type tab? This is the
one that effects real-time formatting/correction. The ones on the AutoFormat
tab occur only when you explicitly run AutoFormat.

What specific changes/corrections/formatting are you experiencing?
