Hi,

Sorry to post this to your response, can't seem to get the system to allow a

You can use SUM(IF array style formulas, you might use OFFSET, INDEX,
INDIRECT, MATCH, SEARCH, FIND, and probably 100 other functions depending on
the details, in addition to those suggested by Chip.
