Entourage 2008 (12.0.1) Synchronize contacts with Address Book and .Mac
(though I don't use .Mac) was working fine (as it did with Entourage 2004)
until last week when it suddenly stopped working AFTER it wiped my Address
Book contacts! It's the simplest kind of Sync -- just replace my startup
disk's Address Book contacts with my startup disk's Entourage contacts (I'm
not on a network, or syncing to/from a peripheral drive, or anything else
complicated, and I only have one Entourage identity) -- but it just stopped
working. I tried rebuilding permissions, running maintenance scripts and
cleaning caches using Onyx 1.9.4b2, and restarting, but nothing helped.
Luckily, I was able to restore an old Address Book contacts from my Time
Machine disk and then turned Synch Services off. But what is causing this?
How do I fix it?
