How do I get Excel to stop finishing my words ...

Everytime I type "H", Excel assumes that I want to write "hello" and
automatically puts it in there for me ... how can I get it to stop doing
this? Anybody have any advice??

This also happens in Word and Outlook.

Melissa,
Sounds like you have AutoCorrect setup to make this "friendly"
assumption.
To change it,
Tools > AutoCorrect...
enter h in the Replace: box
hello should appear in the With: box
Click Delete and Ok
