how do I get journal to record a document?

Help says to go to Tools, Options, Journal Options, and "Also record files
from:" and then check the document boxes. Did that and it still doesn't
record my document - at least that I find. Can someone throw me a bone.

You could be having the same problem I am, Only files from my hard drive will
show up, not any network files. I don't know that there is a solution to this
problem as of yet.
